A living shoreline project is starting along the shore of the City park located between the Granby Street and Willow Wood Drive bridges.  Help the Lafayette Wetlands Partnership prep the site for a shoreline stabilization project scheduled for May 2019. The shoreline is located behind an oyster reef installed by CBF. The new stabilization initiative will help protect the reef from sedimentation. Gloves and boots are recommended (closed-toe shoes required).  Parking is available across Granby Street and in adjoining neighborhoods.  Approximately 10 people will be needed.  Please contact John Stewart (jdstewart1@cox.net) if you can participate.
